Carl Brisson
Biography
Carl Brisson was a Danish film and stage actor. He appeared in 12 silent films between 1918 and 1935, including two films directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
Before becoming an actor, Brisson was a prizefighting boxing and, after retiring from his film career, he became a successful nightclub entertainer and singer.
In 1941, Brisson's son Frederick married American actress Rosalind Russell.
He died of jaundice, aged 64.
