Breakdown (radio play)
Pollock's short story version was included in Alfred Hitchcock's a Baker's Dozen of Suspense Stories, published by Dell in 1949.
In May 1955, the Los Angeles Times reported that Hitchcock had just purchased the screen rights and was planning to turn it into a feature length film once The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) had been completed.
