Claire Griswold


Claire Bradley Griswold (1936–2011) was an American actress who was signed to an exclusive contract by Hitchcock in the early 1960s after her appearance in The Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode "I Saw the Whole Thing".

Although seriously considered for the lead role in Marnie (1964), she retired from acting soon afterwards to concentrate on raising her children from her marriage to Sydney Pollack.

Griswold died aged 74 and had been suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
