Abstract

Here is a scene unmatched for violence and spooky eroticism in movies of the period - a grisly parody of the sex act - and this soft-spoken woman in her white satin nightgown suddenly flares her back muscles, stretches her lithe arms, grabs a splayed pair of scissors and stabs her attacker.
