Amusements at Plymouth

The finest film made in this country for a long time, "The Thirty Nine Steps," is at the Electric for the first half of the week. This film of spies and of shootings of the Scotch moors and the music-halls, is a masterpiece as an adventure story and Mr. Robert Donat and Miss Madeleine Carroll as the players, and Mr. Alfred Hitchcock, the director, have achieved a triumph.
