Abstract

[Visited Feb'13] Margaret Herrick was the first librarian of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Named in her honor in 1971, the Margaret Herrick Library holds one of the most extensive collections of movie-related materials in the world. The library's digital collections, however, are a work in progress and more modestly sized. This free database currently contains around 3,000 items, which are split into 16 collections.
