- 26th - The Gloucestershire Echo carries a report about the portrait commissioned of Hitchcock painted by deaf and mute artist Alfred Thomson. A few days later, the Western Morning News reported that the painting "shows our ablest film director dramatically placed in studio surroundings".[1][2][3]
