  • 29th - Actress Janet Leigh unveils a new 32 cent stamp featuring Hitchcock as part of their "Legends of Hollywood" series. The stamp is eventually released in August 1998.[1]

  • 3rd - The United States Postal Service releases a 32 cent stamp featuring Hitchcock as part of their "Legends of Hollywood" series. The design had been unveiled by Janet Leigh in October 1997.[2]
