The most important task, transferring of nitrate stock to an acetate one, continued this year to larger extend than in the previous years. Dupe‑negatives, dupe‑positives and new copies from original Czech silent films and Czech films from the early sound period were prepared for copying.

The search for old films went on successfully. Following films were found recently:

  • FANFAN‑LA‑TULIPE — French serial, made in 1325 by René Leprince, with Aimé Simon‑Girard, Renée Heribel and Claude France
  • I.N.R.I. — partly tinted print of Robert Wiene's film, made in 1923 with Grigorij Chmara, Asta Nielsen and Henny Porten
  • SON PREMIER FILM — French film made in 1926, with Alexandre Wettach (Grock)
  • MY OLD DUTCH — American film made in 1926 by Lawrence Trimble, with May MacAvoy, Pat O'Malley, Jean Hersholt and Culeen Landis
  • SANGRE Y ARENA — Spanish film, made in 1916 by Soto (tinted print)
  • SVATOJANSKE PROUDY (The Rapids of St. Jan) — early Czech short documentary, made by Antonín Pech and rewarded at the Photographic Exhibition in Vienna in 1912
  • PEGOUD V PRAZE (Pégoud in Prague) — Czech short documentary made by Asum‑Film Corporation in 1912 about the daring aerial production of famous French aviotor Pierre Pégoud
  • PUNCH OF THE IRISH — American two‑reel comedy, made by Henry "Pathé", Lehrman and Noel Mason Smith, with Billy Engle, Frank Coleman and Virginia Rappe
  • MAX UND MORITZ — parts from German cartoon film made in 1916, based on Wilhelm Busch‑characters
  • FUNNY STORY — British short film made in 1912 by Charles Hepworth
