Mr. Laurence Olivier, the British film star and Shakespearean actor, has captured one of Hollywood's prize roles of the year.

He has been signed by Mr. David O. Selznick for the part of Max De Winter in the film of Daphne Du Maurier's international best-seller "Rebecca."

The production will be in the hands of Mr. Alfred Hitchcock, the British director.
