Biography
Anne Grey (born Aileen Ewing) was a popular brown-eyed, brown-haired leading lady of early British talking films who often played gentle sophisticates.
She moved to Hollywood with husband/actor Lester Matthews in 1935 with only a modicum of success. She returned to England and retired by the end of the decade.
