John Van Druten

John Van Druten (1901–1957), born John William Van Druten, was an English playwright and theatre director.
Amongst his plays were Solitaire (1942), which featured a young Patricia Hitchcock making her Broadway début, and Bell, Book and Candle (1950), which was later filmed with Kim Novak and James Stewart.
