Alfred Hitchcock is best known for his perverse wit and the disturbing, devious, psychologically complex investigations of voyeurism and obsessions that characterized most of his movies. Nevertheless, his "Shadow of a Doubt," a play about family and innocence, is one of his favorite motion pictures.
