A 3-part television series celebrating the art of the cinema soundtrack, as Neil Brand explores the work of the great movie composers and demonstrates their techniques.

The series included the work of Bernard Herrmann with Alfred Hitchcock, from Vertigo (1958) to the experimental soundtrack for The Birds (1963), and Miklós Rózsa's use of the theremin in Spellbound (1945).
