"The Island That Wants to be Visited" was the working title of Alfred Hitchcock's unfilmed adaptation of J.M. Barrie's play "Mary Rose".

In 1964, writer Jay Presson Allen completed a draft screenplay for Hitchcock but Universal where unwilling to let Hitchcock make the film.
