MR. W. H. AUSTIN'S MARRIAGE TO ACTRESS TOMORROW
Many tennis enthusiasts will be at Hampstead Parish Church tomorrow to witness the wedding of Miss Phyllis Konstam, the film actress, to Mr. W. H. Austin, who is ranked number one in the English tennis team. Mr. John Oliff, who has played tennis often with "Bunny" Austin, will be best man.
Miss Konstam will wear a gown of oyster satin and her mother's veil of old lace. She will carry a sheaf of lilies. Misses Joyce Konstam (sister), Phoebe Konstam (cousin), Sylvia Lycett and Pamela Glennie (bridegroom's nieces), and Patricia Hitchcock, daughter of Mr. Alfred Hitchcock, film director, will be bridesmaids.
A large number of presents were received, including gifts from Sir Gerald and Lady du Maurier, Sir Nigel and Lady Playfair, Lord and Lady d'Abernon, Lord and Lady Moynihan, and Sir John and Lady Jarvis.
Mr. Austin gave his bride a sapphire eternity ring and a ruby eternity ring, and the bride gave the bridegroom a fitted travelling case. The honeymoon is to be spent in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, where Mr. Austin is playing for England.
