Plymouth Amusements: Secret Agent

Different in type is "Secret Agent," at the Electric. Mr. Alfred Hitchcock, with his usual skill, has taken four good actors, Messrs. John Geilgud, Peter Lorre, Robert Young, and Miss Madeleine Carroll, and set them playing a spy game in war-time Switzerland. The dialogue sparkles and hides up whatever faults there may be in the story or the speed of its development.
