Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California
Wilshire Boulevard is one of the principal east-west arterial roads in Los Angeles, California. It was named for Henry Gaylord Wilshire (1861–1927), an Ohio native who made and lost fortunes in real estate, farming, and gold mining.

Bullocks Wilshire, 3050 Wilshire Boulevard
The Bullocks Wilshire was opened as a luxury department store in 1929 and was popular with Hollywood celebrities, including Alfred Hitchcock. The store was damaged during the 1992 L.A. riots and close for good the following year. The building is now owned by the Southwestern Law School.
The store was used as a location in Family Plot for the sequence where George Lumley interviews the daughter of the Rainbird family chauffeur.
