Emma Hitchcock (b. 1850) née Kipping

(Redirected from Emma Gollop (b. ~1851))

Emma Kipping married fruiterer George Joseph Gollop in 1873 and they had three known children. After his death in 1886, she remarried to Alfred Hitchcock in 1888 and they had one son together — Alfred Charles Hitchcock.

Her younger brother Albert later married Alfred Hitchcock's younger sister Kate in 1896.

Emma died in 1903 aged 53.

Like the Hitchcock family, the Kippings were established greengrocers in the Stratford area.
