There’s something wonderfully surreal and slightly unsettling about many of the Czech and Polish Hitchcock film posters.
To my mind, they seem to generate the same uneasy feeling that Tom Adams’ artwork for his series of Agatha Christie book covers do. As a child, these book covers used to give me the heebie-jeebies!
I just wanted to say that I love these posters more than any posters I’ve ever seen, and I was wondering (I don’t know how you’d know this) how I could possibly print the biggest sizes on Flickr– or! or! I mean… ugh, where can I get these anywhere?Permalink

For the first one they used a paiting by Max Ernst. I remember I saw it at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in VeneziaPermalink
Wow those posters are very cool. It would be a great conversation piece to have one of those on the wall.Permalink
